Photo Booth Pictures
Photo booths come in two basic varieties. They are either digital or classic. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the type of photo booth pictures you would like to take and keep, a digital photo booth may be a better rental than a classic photo booth and vice versa. Here’s a look at the two types of photobooths.
Classic Photo Booth
A classic photo booth typically takes a set of 4 pictures that are developed chemically. The finished photos are delivered on a four-in-a-line strip of pictures. The photos will either be black and white or color depending on the machine. The booths typically have a seat or bench for the subject or subjects to sit. After a coin or bill is inserted, a signal – either a buzzer or light – will alert the subject(s) that a picture is about to be taken. A classic photo booth is the more nostalgic of the two types of booths.
Digital Photo Booth
A digital photo booth is basically the same set up as a classic booth, but the pictures are delivered via a printer, and after any enhancements are made. A digital booth can deliver photos in black and white or color. In addition, a digital booth can produce buttons, stickers, postcards, etc. depending on the setup of the booth.
The decision on whether to use a classic photo booth or a digital photo booth comes down to what type of booth pictures the customer wants. Do they want a nostalgic “real photograph” type found in arcades, and carnivals? Or do they want the ability to make on the fly changes such as black and white or color decisions? Either way, a photo booth can be a great addition to any event.
